Frequently Asked Questions

Everything you need to know about GCS Score, your credit, and your subscription.

Getting started

GCS Score is a web app that shows your credit scores from all three bureaus, explains what affects them, and helps you improve and repair your credit.

Create an account with your email, add a payment method, and you're in — the free trial starts right away.

Yes. A card is required to start the trial, but you won't be charged until it ends, and you can cancel anytime before then.

We monitor Experian, Equifax, and TransUnion so you can see your full credit picture in one place.

Your Credit & Scores

No. Checking your own credit through GCS Score is a soft inquiry and never affects your score.

We use VantageScore, on the same 300-850 scale most lenders and score models use.

Each bureau can hold slightly different information about you, since not every lender reports to all three — small differences are normal.

Your scores and reports are available as soon as your account is set up; changes from your own credit activity typically show up within a billing cycle.

Billing & Subscription

See the Pricing section on the homepage for the current monthly price — one plan, no hidden tiers.

Right when your free trial ends, then automatically every month on the same date until you cancel.

From Account → Subscription, anytime — cancellation takes effect immediately.

Charges are non-refundable, which is why cancelling before your trial ends never costs you anything.

Privacy & Security

Yes. Your information is protected with bank-level encryption, and we never sell your data.

It's required to pull your real credit reports from the bureaus and to verify your identity — it's encrypted at rest and never shown in full.

Contact us and we'll take care of it — see the Contact page for how to reach us.
